Our Story

Beads of Peddie began with people, not products.

During our time in the Eastern Cape of South Africa, we met incredibly talented bead artisans whose skills had been developed over many years. Their work was beautiful, intricate, and created with extraordinary patience and care. Yet despite their talent, many had limited opportunities to earn a sustainable income from their craft or to showcase their work to a wider audience.

We knew these skills deserved to be seen.

What started as a simple idea quickly became a passion. We wanted to create a platform that would celebrate these talented artisans, share their stories, and help open doors to future employment and economic opportunities. Beads of Peddie was born from the belief that remarkable craftsmanship should never go unnoticed.

Every piece in our collection is handmade bead by bead, reflecting not only artistic skill but also pride, tradition, creativity, and resilience. Behind every pair of earrings, every decoration, and every design is a person who has invested their time, talent, and heart into creating something special.
